About us

ORPHAN is a mathy, metallic hardcore band from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Conceived in 2022, the band set out to incorporate a diverse set of influences into their increasingly challenging music. Pulling in the best parts of hardcore, metal, grind, and noise rock and infusing them with jazz, fusion, prog, and occasionally some twang, ORPHAN leverages the tastes of each member in a mission to build complex, well-crafted songs that together form a unique, captivating musical voice.

RECENT NEWS:

June 2024: We were honored to be support for Full of Hell’s first hometown show in years at Lurking Class Skate Shop along with Cycle of Abuse and Meth Rats.

November 2024: We released our debut record, Nothing Lives Here Anymore.
